Day 62
Yesterday went according to plan. And overall it was a good day.
Breakfast was a Kellogg's breakfast bar and a piece of fruit (this time an orange). Lunch was something I wasn't expecting. One of the women interviewing for a housekeeper position at my boss's house made lunch for everybody, so we could try out her cooking. She made a chicken and vegetables dish with rice. Really good. And I think it was good for me.
And for dinner... popcorn. Okay, not the best dinner in the world. And, in all honesty, not the best popcorn I've ever had. And, to top it all off, not the best movie in the world either ("Zodiac," starring Jake Gyllenhall, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr.).
I had therapy as well, and that went very well. I feel like I'm finally cracking the nut that is my life, and starting (only a dozen or so years too late) to grow up.
Anyway, that was the day that was. Now, the facts:
Day 61 food:
Kellogg's breakfast bar
Orange
Water
Chicken and veges and rice (small portion)
Water
Popcorn
Water
Day 61 exercise: Three long walks plus 20 minute yoga workout
Daily weight: 237 lbs. (down 50)
Today, I have a challenge ahead of me. Breakfast with an old friend. At the Griddle Cafe. Hmm... I'm not sure there is anything even remotely redeeming at the Griddle. But I suspect I'll have an omlette of some sort, perhaps with feta cheese. No plans for lunch or dinner, but hopefully some laundry will somehow get done during the day.
Anyway, thanks for reading!
