Day 64

Even though I ate what I thought was a perfectly acceptable amount of food yesterday, and that what I ate for dinner was perfectly good for me, I still felt totally bloated. For whatever reason I was just in my head a bit too much about it.

Breakfast was wicked late, 11:30 a.m. I had a breakfast bar. No lunch, but I did have a medium popcorn at the movies around 5:00 p.m. (I saw "The Lives of Others," the German picture that won Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars... A fantastic film!) Then I went to Chili's for dinner and got fajitas. I ordered them without sour cream or cheese. I think I just ate too quickly, which made me feel like I was binging. I don't know, something didn't feel right about it.

Anyway, I'm feeling fine now. I haven't yet weighed myself, but last night I was convinced that I would weigh more this morning than I did yesterday.

I also didn't get any exercise in yesterday, except for three long walks. Not because I was sitting around the house, though. I managed to do my laundry, drop off my rent check, and do the grocery shopping, so that made me pretty happy.

Anyway, that was the day that was. Now, the facts:


Day 63 food:

Breakfast bar
Water
Grapes (about 12)
Water
Medium popcorn
Water
Chicken fajitas (2, with chicken, peppers and onions, guacamole, rice, lettuce, salsa)
Tortilla chips and salsa (about 12)
Water

Day 63 exercise: Three long walks

Daily weight: 239 lbs. (down 48)


So somewhat back to normal today, though I'm pretty sure I have a lunch meeting today that will put an enormous menu with many devestating options in front of me. I'll probably go back to my old reliable can of soup for dinner though. Always good for a mental reset.
