Day 65

I broke one of the rules last night, but it was for a good (albeit not necessariy important) reason. Two great friends had just returned from the Apsen Comedy Festival, and one of them will only be in town for a day more, and they were going to the sushi-go-round restaurant and it was 8:45 p.m. and I figured, what the heck, I'll be done eating by 9:15 p.m. at the lastest, so I went.

Anyway, that was the big rule I broke. I ate some spicy tuna roll around 9:10 p.m.

The day, otherwise, was good. For breakfast I had fruit salad picked up from the grocery store. Lunch was with a friend at Bossa Nova, a favorite Brazilian restaurant. While I stared longingly at the pasta dishes for a few moments, I ultimately settled on the Bossa salad and an Arnold Palmer to drink. Very funny, my friend ordered first, and ordered the exact same thing. That didn't sway me though. Usually I hate ordering the same thing as the person I'm dining with, but I didn't want to re-open the menu and try and find something else redeeming. The salad was good, but I wasn't feeling hungry at all, so barely touched it.

Dinner, as mentioned above, was sushi. Delicious.

So that was my day. Here, now, are the facts:

Day 64 food:

Fruit salad (stawberries, honeydew, kiwi, etc.)
Lemon non-fat yougurt (about 3 spoonfuls before I realized it tasted horrible)
Water
Bossa salad with grilled shrimp (all 5 pcs. of shrimp and just a little bit of salad)
Arnold Palmer (with one refill)
Water
Red seedless grapes (about 20)
Water
Sushi (6 pcs. california roll, 5 pcs. gyoza, 5 pcs. spicy tuna roll)
Water

Day 64 exercise: Three long walks, 20 minute yoga, 35 crunches

Daily weight: 239 lbs. (down 48)

So today should be another normal day. Maybe a salad for lunch, but I'm hoping to have a couple of servings of soup. We'll see how the day ends up though...

Thanks for reading!
