Day 13
Another day down, another day that wasn't too much of a struggle.
I didn't have a shake yesterday morning, which was my third of fourth day of not having a shake. I have been waking up without any hunger pangs, and have simply had some water then went about my day. I think I will make a shake this morning, though.
I grocery shopped yesterday, and got bananas and tangerines, so I'm glad to have fruit in he house. I can also use the bananas in my morning shakes, which I'm happy about.
I bought vitamins too. I have been thinking that I need to add a multi-vitamin and a vitamin C to my diet, so I'm glad to begin that today.
I also bought yougurt for my morning shakes. There was one funny thing, which is, the yougurt is directly next to the pudding. I have had a history of eating the Kosy Shack rice pudding and chocolate pudding, and I stopped after putting the yougurt into my cart and just stared at them for a minute. There was no thought about buying any of it, but it was like I was running into an ex-lover at the market and not really having anything to say.
And this Sunday's possible pot-smoking is still weighing heavily on me. It's similar to the going back-and-forth with the possibility of being offered pot last week at poker. The major difference, though, is that I am certain I'll be offered it tomorrow. The other issue with tomorrow is that I need to make something to eat for everybody, and I'm not sure if I make something for everybody else, or something I can eat as well. Stay tuned for that one.
So, just the facts, ma'am.
Day 12 food:
Water
Greek salad with grilled chicken and feta cheese (from Le Petit Greek) (about 3/4 order)
Water
Progresso classic chicken noodle soup (entire can, 2 servings)
Water
Day 12 exercise: still about the same... three long walks with Tessie
Daily weight: 266 lbs. (down 21)
So that's it. Today, probably a shake, something for lunch, and then I'm pretty sure we're ordering from Roman's tonight at poker, so I'll have the chicken Caesar salad.
Thanks for reading!
