Day 36
Yesterday was an interesting day. I'm pretty sure I ate healthy, but I can't really tell for sure. Three meals out, and I did my best to make good choices.
For breakfast (alright brunch...) I had an omelette, but for the first time chose to have it with egg whites instead of eggs. While it wasn't the best thing in the world (it certeainly didn't taste like eggs), it wasn't bad either. The veges that were in the omelette weren't bad.
Halfway between brunch and dinner, I had a cup of soup from California Pizza Kitchen. Their Sedona tortilla soup. I'm not sure if it was cream-based, filled with cheese, or just lots of puree'd vegetables. It wasn't bad, wasn't good. But it was only a very small portion, so I'm not too worried about it.
For dinner, I (once again) had sushi. Four days in a row. I think I'm officially done now with sushi for a while. I had a spicy tuna roll, then a fish dish called John Dory with a wasabi white wine sauce. The entire thing tasted awfully buttery, which was delicious. I only ended up having a small piece, as my friend had the other half. I don't think it was that bad for me. And, I had a tiny taste of his creme brulee. It was good, but not good enough for me to dive into a second spoonful.
I also had a strange experience where I walked past a tray of cubed cheese at a furniture store. Previously, I would have grabbed a handful of cubes to suck down, and it was sort of like my hand twitched in that direction, but I stopped myself before I could do anything.
Anyway, that was my day. So, just the facts:
Day 35 food:
Egg white omelette (egg whites, avacado, onions, peppers, tomatoes, cilantro)
One slice of toast (raisin bread)
Water
Tall glass of OJ
Water
Quaker Quakes (one serving)
Sedona tortilla soup (cup)
Water
Spicy tuna roll (8 pieces)
John Dory fish (one small piece)
Glass of reisling wine
Small taste of creme brulee

Day 35 exercise: Three long walks (no yoga...)

Today things should get back to normal. My friend is still here, until later this afternoon. But I'll probably make my shake soon, then head to work this afternoon.
Thanks for reading!
