Day 38

Yesterday was another good day. Nothing much to report in the way of struggles, though I wasn't happy that I didn't get in a yoga program. And, I'm nervous about getting on in today, what with the crazy schedule I'm going to have today.

Like planned, a shake for breakfast, a grilled chicken Caesar salad for lunch, and then for dinner I had a can of soup.

It was a smidge strange, having the soup, as I wasn't hungry at all, and debated not having dinner, but... in the end did have it. It's only 280 calories, 5 grams of fat. It's not bad for me. And I should have dinner. Plus, I have proven that by not eating dinner I don't lose more weight. So I had it.

Also, on the drive home from a friend's show last night, I wanted to eat. I wasn't hungry at all. But, I wanted a midnight omelette or something equally bad for me. Cookies, potato chips, hot dog, whatever. And while I tried to put my finger on what I was trying to do by eating, I couldn't come up with anything other than, I would enjoy it. I didn't do it, but it did weigh heavily on me.

The other great thing that happened last night is, I saw a friend who I haven't seen in a couple of months. And her weight loss is almost complete. She must've dropped at least 60 lbs., and it was so wonderful and inspiring to see her looking so good.

Anyway, that was yesterday. Now, the facts:

Day 37 food:

Shake (banana, blueberries, ice, orange juice, low-fat strawberry yougurt)
Water
Tangerine
Grilled chicken Caesar salad (2/3 order)
Water
Chunky chicken gumbo with rice (full can, 2 servings)
Quaker Quakes (1 serving)
Water

So today should be another regimented day until dinner. I'm pretty sure I'm having dinner out with a friend, so I'll have to make the right choice off of a menu. Wish me luck!
