The body's back!!

Greetings all. And welcome back from Spring Break. Or, something like that.

I've been gone almost two months, and have reversed many of the gains made during the first few months of this year. But, that's how it goes, I guess. No use crying over spilled milk, right?

So I've decided to get back on the wagon, dust myself off, and give this whole living healthy thing another go.

I'm currently in Boston, staying with great friends while managing a tour of a show called "Kiki and Herb: Alive from Broadway." It has been a great experience thus far, but, as suspected, "the road," and all it's temptations of easy-to-get food and late-night snacking opportunities, has gotten the best of me. (Don't get me wrong, though, it's not the fault of the road... My behavior has slipped well before getting on the plane and heading east.)

But the show is up-and-running now, and my days will mostly be free. So now I am determined to put my nose to the grindstone, get back to some healthy living, hopefully grind out a screenplay, and try and feel better about myself in the process.

As ever... wish me luck!

Now, I don't have a scale here with me, so there won't be any morning weigh-ins. A few friends have told me that it's bad to weigh yourself each morning. In truth, I don't think that really contributed much to my slip-ups, but perhaps it did. And while I enjoyed looking at the shrinking number as a sign of my progress, I got more pleasure out of looking at pictures of me from day-to-day. That was where I felt I could most revel in my progress.

So, no weights. I have no clue how much I weigh, actually. After I post my pictures, I'm going to go back through all my other pictures and try and pin-point where I am approximately. But from there, I'll track what I eat and what type of exercise I do... and we'll see how we do.

So, for today, I thank you for reading, and look forward to many more posts!
